Full glass of milk
One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?" "You don't owe me anything, "She replied." "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness." He said, then I thank you from my heart. As Amol left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit. Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors wer baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Amol was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light fille dhis eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in doctor's gown he went into see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Amol requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words... "Paid in full with one full glass of milk." (Signed) Dr. Amol Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands."

The Cracked Pot
A water bearer in India had 2 large pots, each hung on an end of a pole which he carreid across his neck. One of the post had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master house, the cracked pot arrive only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and half pots full of water in his master house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After 2 years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. I am ashamed of myself, & I want to apologize to you. Why? asked the bearer. What are you ashamed of? I have been able, for these past 2 years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts. the pot said. The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path". Indeed, as they went up the hill, old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trial, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again the pot apologized to the bearer for its failure. The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pots, side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them. For 2 years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my masters table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house." Each of us has our own unique flaws. We're all cracked pots. But if we will allow it, the Lord will use our flaws to grace His Father's table. In Gods great economy, nothing goes to waste. Don't be afraid of you flaws. Acknowledge them, and you too can be the cause of beauth. Know that in our waeakness we find our strength.

Unconditional love
Unconditional Love
A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in World War. He called his parents from Kashmir. "Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favour to ask. I have friend I'd like to bring home with me." Sure, They replied. We'd love to meet him. There's something you should know the son continued, " He was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go and I want him to come live with us. I am sorry to hear that, Son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live. No, Mom and Dad, I want to live with us. Son, said the father, "you don't know what your're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own". At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the Police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief- sticken parents flew to kashmir and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they did't know, their son had only one arm and one leg. The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messe up we are.

Do we have to be irritated
An 80 year old man was sitting on sofa in his house along with his old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window. The father asked his son, "what is this?" the son replied "it is crow". After a few minutes, the father asked his son 2nd time,"what is this?" the son said"father, i have just told you it's a crow. After a little while, the old father again asked his son the 3rd time, what is this? At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the son's tone when he said to his father with a rebuff. "it's a crow, a crow" A little after, the father again asked his son the 4th time, "what is this?' This time the son shouted at his father, "why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although i have told you so many times "it is a crow". Are you not able to understand this. A little later the father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diarly, which he has maintained since his son was born. On opening a page, he asked his son to read that page. When the son read it, the following word were written in the diary: - Today my son aged 3 was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My son asked mw 23 times what is was, and i replied to him all 23 times that it was a crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated rather felt affection for my innocent child". While the little child asked him 23 times "what is this", the father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the father asked his son the same question just 4 times, the son felt irritated and annoyed.
So, If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to you parents from today say this aloud, " I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me since i was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.
